Jerrod Niemann

Country music hitmaker Jerrod Niemann has built a career defined by chart-topping success, inventive songwriting, and a fearless ability to push the boundaries of modern country music while still honoring its roots. Born in Kansas and influenced by both traditional country legends and contemporary sounds, Niemann emerged as one of Nashville’s most respected singer-songwriters long before stepping into the spotlight as an artist himself.

Niemann first broke onto the national scene with his 2010 major-label debut, Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury, which featured the PLATINUM-certified #1 hit “Lover, Lover” and the GOLD-certified Top 5 single “What Do You Want.” The album immediately established him as one of country music’s most distinctive new voices, blending clever lyricism, emotional honesty, and genre-bending creativity.

He followed with Free the Music in 2012, featuring fan favorites “Shinin’ On Me” and “Only God Could Love You More,” before releasing High Noon in 2014. The project included the multi-week #1 smash “Drink to That All Night,” which became one of the era’s biggest country party anthems and earned PLATINUM certification. Niemann co-wrote eight of the album’s twelve tracks, further showcasing his reputation as one of Nashville’s premier songwriters.

In 2017, Niemann released This Ride, an album that reflected both personal growth and musical evolution. The project featured songs such as “I Got This,” the uplifting duet “A Little More Love” with Lee Brice, and “God Made a Woman.” That same year, Niemann also released the heartfelt patriotic anthem “Old Glory,” inspired by the sacrifices of American military service members following the 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger. A veteran of multiple USO Tours, Niemann performed the song live for troops overseas before sharing it with audiences back home.

Beyond his own success as an artist, Niemann has become one of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters. His writing credits include songs recorded by Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Jamey Johnson, Lee Brice, Diamond Rio, John Anderson, Neal McCoy, and many others. He co-wrote Garth Brooks’ chart-topping Chris LeDoux tribute “Good Ride Cowboy,” along with “That Girl Is a Cowboy” and “Midnight Sun.”

Throughout his career, Niemann has earned nominations from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and CMT Music Awards while touring alongside some of country music’s biggest stars, including Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley. Known for his energetic live performances, quick wit, and unmistakable style, Jerrod Niemann continues to captivate audiences nationwide with music that is both innovative and unmistakably country.
