Anthony Smith is a versatile songwriter, producer, and arranger who has achieved great success in many genres, including Country, Pop, R&B, and Jazz. Artists who have recorded his songs include Chris Young, Reba, Parmalee, Lauren Alaina, Ben Gallaher, Bucky Covington, Lonestar, Clay Walker, Rodney Atkins, Regina Belle, Vince Gill, Jo Dee Messina, Neal McCoy, RBD, Donna Summer, Emerson Drive, Adam Gregory, Heartland, Shane Yellowbird, Jaydee Bixby, Trent Tomlinson, Rio Grand, The Wilkinsons, Kirk Whalum, Suzy Bogguss, Kenny Rogers, Ash Bowers, Aleksander With, John & Audrey Wiggins, Julie Reeves, Joanna Smith and Anita Cochran among others.

Smith was a featured “mentor songwriter,” along with Jermaine Jackson and George Clinton, on Seasons 2 and 3 of the hit CMT reality show, “GONE COUNTRY.”

Smith’s producer credits include the debut LP for Atlantic recording artist, South Sixty-Five, the debut LP for Curb Records artist, Trini Triggs and the debut LP for Curb Records/Asylum Records artist, Rio Grand. Other production contributions may be found on the Kirk Whalum LP, “In This Life.” Smith also produced and co-wrote the “Titans on 2” jingle for News Channel 2, WKRN in Nashville.

Smith is VP of Creative / A&R of Porchlight Music.
